We're looking for about fifteen writers with a real story, who'll bring it into NovlHeim for two or three weeks and tell us what's true: what worked, what didn't, and what made you hesitate. Every honest note shapes what ships. And when Core launches, the people who tested it hear from us first, and not with a full-price invoice.
The process
How it goes.
- Apply. The form takes a few minutes: who you are, what you're writing, what you write in today.
- We read. Every application, ourselves. About 15 writers make the first cohort.
- You get a build. A Windows installer and a short note on what to try first.
- You write. Part or all of a real project, in NovlHeim, for two to three weeks.
- We talk. One short conversation after, about what delighted you and what didn't.

The first beta is mainly for writers working in:
- Fantasy
- Science Fiction
- Romantasy
Especially novels, series and shared worlds, where the manuscript is only one part of keeping the story straight.
You don't need to be published. You do need to be writing something real.
What to bring
Bring a real story.
This isn't a demo. We want a small group of writers to bring part or all of a real project into NovlHeim and live in it for a while.
You might be asked to:
- Import a manuscript you're already working on.
- Bring in your notes, or rebuild part of your world.
- Draft or revise real prose.
- Use the planning and worldbuilding tools the way you'd use your own.
- Tell us what delights you, what frustrates you, and what makes you hesitate to trust the software.
Tell us plainly. That's the whole ask.
The fit
Who we're looking for.
You're probably a good fit if you:
- are writing or revising a novel or a series right now;
- work on Windows;
- keep a story across a word processor, notebooks, spreadsheets or a wiki, or several of them at once;
- have enough characters, lore and plot that your current setup feels scattered;
- can use NovlHeim several times over a two-to-three-week test;
- are comfortable bringing a real project;
- will tell us where it fails as readily as where it works;
- can join one short follow-up conversation afterwards.
We're keeping the first cohort small on purpose. About 15 writers will be chosen.
